The community of Light Farms—located within Celina and the town of Prosper—is made up of ranch-style and two-story single-family homes that dot quiet streets and cul-de-sacs, highlighting the green open spaces and natural beauty of the area. Light Farms Pools & Fitness
Light Farms makes it easy to maintain your health and fitness with various exercise options to switch up your routine whenever you want. The sports complex features a variety of games and activities that are fun for everyone. Living at Light Farms, you can access three tennis courts, four pickleball courts, two basketball courts with four hoops, two bocce ball courts, and a sand volleyball court.
Matching the reclaimed wood and farmhouse motif throughout the Light Farms Info Center, the fitness center has large, towering reclaimed wood beams that reach up into the vaulted ceiling. From ellipticals and free weights to treadmills and everything in between, the Light Farms fitness center has everything a gym membership offers without having to sign a gym contract.
Take a few laps in the Jr. Olympic-sized lap pool, or have fun in one of the four other pools in the community. The fitness center has everything you need for a full workout and group fitness like yoga.
Most of the community pools are just behind The Nook and the amenity center, including two resort-style pools, a lap pool, and a toddler pool under a shade pergola. One of the resort-style pools has a submerged tanning ledge, while the other has a zero-depth beach entry. The fifth and newest pool is located in the Sage neighborhood at the southeast corner of the community.
Sweetwater Amenities

Light Farms School Information
Schools in Light Farms fall under the jurisdiction of the Prosper Independent School District, which is located in Collin County and part of Denton County. While Light Farms residents usually attend junior high and high school in Prosper, two of the district's nine elementary schools—Light Farms Elementary and Boyer Elementary—are located within the community. There are also private schools near Light Farms, including the on-site Light Farms Montessori Academy. The academy offers daycare and early education for students six months through six years old.
Boyer Elementary on Frontier Parkway is in a central location near the Barn Yard. Light Farms Elementary is conveniently located on Cypress Creek Way. The school has around 940 students enrolled in kindergarten through 5th grade and over 50 certified teachers who've been with the school for an average of 3 years.
Students from Light Farms move into Reynolds Middle School after 5th grade. The middle school is on North Coleman Street, just south of Light Farms.
Prosper High School is on Eagle Drive, just a mile and a half from the Light Farms community center. The high school has just over 3,800 students enrolled in 9th through 12th grade.
