The Shops at Cypress Creek Lakes is located on the north side of the community and has several restaurants as well as a salon and an animal hospital. On the west side of CCL, there’s an HEB for groceries along with other dining options. 

There are also plenty of other convenience and retail shopping options near CCL. There’s a CVS located just north of the community near several other stores, and Petco is located just a few minutes down Tuckerton Rd to the east. Just a few minutes north of Cypress Creek Lakes there are also retail shopping options right off of 290 and Fry Road such as Target, Ross, T.J. Maxx, Famous Footwear, and Office Depot.

The landscape of the neighborhood already lends itself well to walks and picnics due to its many waterways, parks, and scenic views. Union Kitchen, Marvino’s Italian Steakhouse, and Ambriza are among other delicious eateries around Cypress Creek Lakes.

The Hidden Cellar Wine Bar and World of Beer are two nearby spots to grab a drink and listen to live music or catch live sports, and Le Macaron (right next to Local Table) offers quality French pastries for dessert.

Among other nearby attractions close to Cypress Creek Lakes, BlackHorse Golf Club and Houston National Golf Club are some of the best golf courses in Cypress. Josey Lake Park & Bird Sanctuary is nearby on the other side of Fry Road, an ecological park perfect for those who love nature and the outdoors. Star Cinema Grill, a dine-in movie theater, is also located just a few minutes to the south at the intersection of Fry and West Road. 

Fry Road runs along the community on its west side, and highways 290 and 99 sit just a few minutes away, so Cypress Creek Lakes also conveniently connects its residents to many more attractions in other parts of Cypress and Greater Houston.

As an up-and-coming community within a growing area of the Houston metroplex, Cypress Creek Lakes is well-positioned to provide access to employers in and around Cypress. In education, Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District has about 90 schools in total, and the Lone Star College System has multiple locations for higher education teaching opportunities. Nearby Areas for Employment

Additionally, Cypress Creek Lakes is located around 30 miles away from both The Woodlands to the north and Downtown Houston to the south, with the latter having a public transportation route via the Cypress Park & Ride. 

In The Woodlands and Spring area, oil and gas giants like Baker Hughes and ExxonMobil are present. Entergy Texas, Huntsman, and several major hospitals also dot the landscape of The Woodlands.

Downtown there are plenty of business parks and district areas that offer opportunities with companies like CenterPoint Energy, Sysco, Kinder Morgan, NRG, and hospitals like Houston Methodist.

Cypress Creek Lakes School Information

The public school district serving Cypress Creek Lakes, Cy-Fair ISD, is Texas’ third largest, and the CCL community is zoned specifically to Warner Elementary School, Smith Middle School, and Cypress Ranch High School. With special permission, it is possible for residents to attend other schools within Cy-Fair ISD, such as Rennell Elementary School and Anthony Middle School. 

There are also several Montessori schools in the area, including Seedlings Montessori School and Silverline Montessori School, which is located on the northeast side of CCL and has been serving the community around it since 2000. Cypress Christian School and Covenant Academy are private school options in the general Cypress area, though they are a little bit further away. 

Finally, for those seeking higher education, Lone Star College has a strong presence all over the Greater Houston area, including Cypress. It has a Cy-Fair campus located at Clay Rd and Fry Rd, and it offers over 200 degree programs and certifications for students of all ages to explore.
