Harvest Real Estate Market

Living in Harvest, TX

Harvest is an agrihood—a neighborhood built on or around a working farm—and every inch of the community reflects this unique characteristic. The majority of listings in Harvest’s real estate market are single-family homes and patio homes, though the community does offer a neighborhood of townhomes as well. Townhomes in Harvest typically list in the high $300s and feature two or three bedrooms. Single-family homes built in the Craftsman and bungalow styles usually list from the $400s, with listings topping out near $1 million.

Homebuyers can enjoy a hands-on experience when choosing a Harvest new construction home. Harvest works with nine established home builders to bring homebuyers the best options to choose from. This includes esteemed names like Toll Brothers, Drees Custom Homes, and Coventry Homes.

CB JENI Lifestyle builds Harvest’s one- and two-story townhomes on 22’ to 30’ lots. With two to three bedrooms and two to two-and-a-half bathrooms, these well-designed townhouses for sale contain 1,330 to 2,035 square feet.

Highland Homes builds Harvest’s 1,500-square-foot Townside Patio Homes. With the front yard maintenance included in the HOA, residents have more time to enjoy all of Harvest’s incredible amenities.

Those searching for larger properties have six builders to choose from in the traditional home series, including Coventry Homes, Drees Custom Homes, and David Weekley Homes. With lots ranging from 50’ to 100’ and various floor plans and design features to consider, buyers will find a luxury home for sale to meet their needs.

Harvest Community Amenities

Best Amenities: Harvest by Hillwood in Argyle, Texas

Harvest's lifestyle program sets it apart from other master-planned communities near DFW. There are events almost every day, including resident-favorite Ice Cream Sandwich Day, and the community's multiple resort-style pools and event and recreation spaces provide the perfect setting for fun events and neighborly activities.

Harvest is the First Argihood in DFW

For those wondering what an agrihood is, agrihoods are planned residential communities centered around community farming.

A professional farmer operates Harvest's on-site farm and orchard, growing a huge variety of produce to sell at local restaurants, hotels, and farmers' markets. Additionally, private gardening plots are available to residents through the HOA office. Harvest's resident farmer also offers special on-site gardening classes to residents during each planting season.

Residents who sign up for a membership program can have fresh fruits and vegetables from the farm dropped off right at their front door.

Parks & Green Spaces

The community’s main park, Central Park, is a 1.5-mile-long green space perfect place to enjoy a nice walk, play with your kids, or complete a solid workout.

Rec center meets rustic community gathering space with The Barn, a Central Park feature that offers a long list of activities to take part in. Shoot some hoops at the basketball half-court on the side of the building, enjoy a meal at the picnic tables, gather with loved ones at the outdoor fire pits, or take your work-from-home routine outdoors at the shaded tables. There are trails, greenways, and parks throughout the community, including the Harvest Fun Fields and a dog park. There are separate grassy areas for large and small dogs and a pavilion with seating for breaks in the shade.

Those who prefer more intensive workouts will appreciate The Fit Barn. This indoor/outdoor facility features an equipment room, a fitness lawn, and volleyball and basketball courts.

What’s better than an outdoor area for music and good times with friends? How about two? The Front Porch and the Event Lawn are the ideal places to listen to live music and do the Texas two-step.

Pools & Ponds

Harvest has two pool areas, The Splash and The Splash II, for cooling off in style. Whether you're looking to relax in a poolside cabana or take the kids to splash in the baby pool, the pools at Harvest have something for everyone.

The Splash resort-style pools are some of the premier aquatic features in the Harvest community. This gathering place on Lakeview Lane and Homestead Way has two separate pools, lounge chairs, and cabanas, and it’s located right next to a park and just across the way from the Farmhouse coffee shop.

The Splash II is another option to enjoy water fun and exercise. If you need a kid-friendly spot to enjoy some summer fun, this area on the corner of 9th Street and Meadows Drive features a baby pool and splash pad in addition to Harvest’s third resort-style pool.

Looking to get your workout in while beating the heat at the same time? The Fit Barn, a fully equipped fitness center located on the corner of Old Justin Road and Treeline Drive, features an additional (fourth!) lap pool for added convenience.

Harvest also has an 11-acre artificial lake containing crappie, bass, and catfish. Almost a mile of walking trails surrounds this catch-and-release lake.

Community Events

Harvest features a range of social clubs, hobby groups, annual festivals, and other events for people of all ages and lifestyles, making it easy to build lifelong friendships within the neighborhood. Harvest’s stellar lifestyle program has won it recognition and awards from the Dallas Builders Association.

You can also try the Hall, an upscale event space with a full demonstration kitchen and state-of-the-art sound system, or the Event Lawn, an outdoor green space perfect for summertime events that overlooks Harvest Lake.

The Harvest HOA

Harvest's Homeowners Association maintains the landscaping and amenities and hosts events as part of the award-winning lifestyle program.

As partners of the HOA, the Lifestyle Team promotes a community culture and lives by the motto #HarvestBetterTogether. Taking part in Mini Oktoberfest or the Teen Pool party are fun ways to meet your neighbors and develop great relationships in your community.
